Date: June 15, 2020

Time: 5 - 6 pm | CEST

Where: Join the dialogue via Zoom

Speakers: Emilia Roig, Diego Osorio, and Micaela Casalboni

Moderator: Wadzanai Motsi-Khatai

Hosted by the 'Monday on the Couch Series' from the Bosch Alumni Network.

In May 2020, the Center for Intersectional Justice launched its online resource, the Factsheet: Intersectionality at a Glance in Europe. The Factsheet provides a framework and language for intersectional justice, reviewing the historical and legal development of intersectionality and its relevance to our societies today. Building on this resource, the CIJ, in collaboration with the Bosch Alumni Network, will discuss the importance of intersectionality in post COVID-19 planning and initiatives globally. The conversation will explore lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic about inequity, in particular:

  • Raising awareness of gaps and limitations in our current systems and institutions and
  • Fostering dialogue on solutions for more inclusive institutions and systems.

The discussion will help facilitate critical but productive dialogue for strategic action in Europe and beyond.
